What is Forklift Tracking?
Forklift Tracking is the continuous, automatic localization of transport vehicles within the warehouse. Position data is recorded ongoingly and provides an up-to-date picture of the fleet at all times. In addition to the exact position, speed, load status, and the condition of the transport vehicle are recorded in real time.

A Forklift Guidance System (FGS) additionally controls the fleet actively – with automatic, priority-controlled transport order assignment, scan-free material booking, and 3D warehouse visualization. Both solutions have their use cases.
Which localization technology is used?
ABF works technology-independently and uses GNSS, Radar, UWB, or LiDAR depending on the environment – whichever technology delivers the best performance in the specific setting. More on this under RTLS.
Does Forklift Tracking replace my WMS?
