New Office Building in Linz Südpark
Our company building was erected in 1998 as the first construction project in the now flourishing business park Südpark Linz. Due to its direct connection to the A1 motorway and its proximity to the Pichlingersee recreation area, Südpark is the perfect location for our company headquarters.

ABF starts the development of the application platform OneBase®
First Projects with SAP-MII
ABF uses SAP-MII as a platform for Manufacturing Execution Systems.
Major Order from Thyssen-Krupp
ABF receives the order from Thyssen-Krupp for the logistics solution in the newly built steel mill in Brazil.
As part of this project, ABF enters into a partnership with the company Symeo for radar-based positioning systems.

Following the successful implementation of numerous projects in the SAP Manufacturing sector, we are appointed as a qualified partner for SAP-MII and SAP-ME.
Product Development Logistics Solution OneBase®MFT
Completion of the new logistics solution and initial deployment in a customer project: ABF delivers the plant-wide logistics system for the wire rod mill of voestalpine Austria Draht based on the newly developed logistics solution OneBase®MFT
Change in Management
Transfer of management from Günther Adelwöhrer to Gustav Buchberger.
SAP-ME Projects
ABF becomes arguably the most successful SAP-MII and SAP-ME integrator in Austria. Major MES projects are implemented with the SAP-ME solution for BRP-Rotax and KTM, setting the course for one-piece flow and productivity increase.
ABF makes a significant contribution to the success story of SAP’s MES solution. The ME project at BRP-Rotax is one of the three most successful SAP-ME success stories worldwide.
